Automatic Push from JIRA > Salesforce Only Working for Certain Field Types

I am configuring the Salesforce & JIRA Cloud Connctor and am running into an issue with the automatic push from JIRA to Salesforce. For some reason, it appears that text fields will sync automatically just fine, but date fields, select menus, and user/assignee fields will not sync automatically. They do manually sync. Is there anything in particular that I need to configure to support this, or is this likely a bug? Thanks!

Following this thread.
We are also interested in mapping a Jira Status field to a 'text' field in SalesForce.
As a temporary solution, we mapped the status to a 'picklist' typed field in SalesForce, to achieve the sync.

I am seeing a similar issue, although in my case one text field is synced automatically, while another is not. My post -> https://community.servicerocket.com/servicerocket/topics/automatic-push-from-jira-salesforce-not-working-for-all-fields?rfm=1&topic_submit=true

Hello Ido,

It is possible to map JIRA Status field to a 'Text' field in Salesforce.
Can you further elaborate on the problems that you've faced while mapping JIRA Status field
to a 'Text' field in Salesforce? Are you able to manual push from JIRA Status field to a 'Text' field in Salesforce?

Please provide screenshots of the mappings and the behaviors that you are facing.

Regards,
Adrien

Thanks for the reply Adrien.

We got this working now. Apparently the Sync direction (in the configuration of the solution on Jira's end) wasn't set properly.

We also noticed the Compatibility Matrix, which is a good tool trying to troubleshoot such issues:
here: https://docs.servicerocket.com/display/CCSFJIRA/JIRA+Field+Type+to+Salesforce+Field+Type+Compatibility?_ga=1.29933432.63582218.1461152991

Thank you.
