Automatic push to remote system not working for one of our Jira project's existing issue types

Just curious if anyone has experienced this. 

We have two Jira projects configured with the Salesforce connector. They use the same connection.

One of the projects stopped automatically pushing field mapping changes to our Salesforce instance. We can manually push changes to Salesforce, but this is definitely not ideal. I added a new issue type to the project and use the same field config, workflow, screen config and field mapping and automatic pushing worked.
