Date Data Calendar Picker Not working

We're having problems with the calendar picker for date data in scaffolding. If there is no data in the field it won't let the user click the calendar picker - it doesn't show the picker. If you enter a date or want to change an existing date, picking a date from the picker only populates the date portion of the field. If you save, you'll get an out of range error. You have to click in the filed, which will cause zeros to populate the time values of the field and then you can save.

This happens in both Chrome and Firefox. We're on the latest version of the Scaffolding Plugin as of today.
