For specific reasons we want to use the connector just for one way : JIRA --> SALESFORCE .My problem is when I create JIRA issue from the SF trigger using JIRA REST API , the issue created has not link with SF case .So I can't push my modification from JIRA to SF

Hi Abdellah,

Can you please provide us with the following information?
* Your JIRA version
* The Connector that you are referring to

Kevin

Hello Kevin ,
*  JIRA v7.2.1
* Salesforce & JIRA Server Connector 6.0.15

For the triggers I'm using the endpoint /rest/api/2/issue/

@Victor:

As a workaround, perhaps you can fill up the Remote System Reference field in JIRA with the 18 characters remote ID via REST API, but it would only work with the Association and not Creation.

DO you have a documentation on this? to help us? We have a bunch of bulk tickets to be linked. I have the mapping of remote object Id and the JIRA tickets ids in a spreadsheet.

Thanks!

Hi Pradheep,

There is no documentation on how to fill up Remote System Reference field via REST API as it is not supported by the Connector.

Thank you.

Hi Victor,

Thanks for your quick reply.

Does this imply, if I install your connector fresh, we have no way to connect the existing tickets other than navigating each ticket manually(even if I have a sheet of mapping available in other mediums)?  I just need a confirmation on my understanding here.

Pradheep

Hi Pradheep,

It is possible to associate the existing Salesforce.com Records with JIRA issues manually with the steps as stated in the following documentation:

https://docs.servicerocket.com/display/CFSJ/Associating+a+Salesforce+Object+with+JIRA+Issues

Thank you.
