How to keep tabs in view, not scroll to top of content?

Hello,

I just installed Composition to Confluence 5.9.2 - great add-on, thank you!!!  I'd like to keep the tabs in view when clicked, right now when changing a tab the top of the content scrolls to the top.  For a user that may want to browse various tabs content they have to click, scroll, click, scroll, etc.  Is there a way to keep the tabs in view when clicking a new tab?

Thank you.

Hello Neal,

Currently we don't have this feature in Composition plugin, we might need to add a feature request for this.

Thanks&Regards,
Ziana

Hello

I've just noticed the same behaviour after upgrading our Dev Confluence instance from 5.8.10 to 5.9.7 - the Composition add-on version was unchanged at 5.1.1.

So is it actually Confluence that has introduced this behaviour or a combination of Confluence and the addon?

Either way, I don't care for it and would like to retain the original behaviour, or at least be able to choose between the two.

Any advice in this regard?

Thank you.

Hello Paul,

Do you still have your Confluence 5.8 running? If yes, it would be great if you can provide screenshot of page where this behavior works; together with Confluence's System Info and storage format of the page for our testing

You may email it to our help desk at supportATservicerocket.com for privacy.

Thanks&Regards,
Ziana

Hi Ziana

I have only updated our Dev Confluence instance so can easily provide "before and after" information by contrasting it with our Production one.

I have done this and sent the information in an email.

Regards.

Hello Neal & Paul,

I've checked again on this issue and found this was a Composition bug in Confluence 5.9. We will log a bug report for this.

Thanks&Regards,
Ziana

Thanks for the update Ziana.

How long does it typically take for bugs to be resolved and an updated plugin version to be released? I only ask because I may choose to hold off updating our production Confluence instance until this (and two other issues you've accepted as bugs) have been addressed.

Regards.

Paul
