Is it possible to sync Salesforce Tasks with an Issue in JIRA using the connector?

I use Service Rocket and have an existing integration that allows users to create a JIRA Issue from a Case in Salesforce.

My question is: if I have users using Tasks on Cases in Salesforce...is it possible to push those tasks over to JIRA and have them create a Task or some kind of similar record on that corresponding Issue for that Case in JIRA?  Is this even possible?

Any Salesforce object can be map to a JIRA Issue,
Please review Connector Documentation Salesforce & JIRA Server Connector

Thanks.  I'm really new to the JIRA side of things.  Is there a standard object in JIRA called "Tasks" that would correspond to my Salesforce tasks on my cases, or would I have to create some kind of custom object to map the task to in JIRA that is a child of the JIRA issue?

Usually Task issue type is coming by default with JIRA, you just need to associating issue types with projects, and then you can map the scheme this type with Salesforce Object.

Thanks a lot Samuel I really appreciate it.  At this point I am not ready to build I am just trying to verify that it is possible to do this.  Can you please just verify that it is possible for me to sync a Salesforce task on a given Salesforce Case, over to the corresponding Issue in JIRA for that case as a new sub-task or some kind of child record on that Issue in JIRA?  I just want to be sure this is possible before getting into the development.  Thanks a lot.

Hi Joe,

This is possible, but the association may be a bit complicated.
Can you please create a support ticket at support@servicerocket.com to follow up with this issue.

Thanks,
Sam
