Hi all,

I have been struggling with the setup of the salesforce 'create jira issue' button. I am able to product a screen that will enable me to link the case to an existing issue, but not create a new issue. Any suggestions?

Hi Timothy,

What is the version of your JIRA instance?
What is the version of the Connector plugins?
  1. ServiceRocket Core Connector - Plugin
  2. ServiceRocket JIRA Connector - Plugin
  3. ServiceRocket Salesforce.com Connector Plugin - Plugin

Can you please ensure that you have configured the issue creation button with the steps as stated in this documentation?

Can you please provide us with a screenshot of the error?

Can you please ensure that you have the permission as stated in this documentation?

Thank you.

Regards,
Victor Law

Victor,

I am using JIRA server v 7.0.5 with servicerocket connector v 6.0.2, re the last part, i have not installed this and when i have gone to the salesforce market place it has redirected me to the atlassian market place to install the app.

With regards to the documentation re salesforce button, the url i have used is as follows: /plugins/servlet/customware/connector/issue/3/Case/link.action?id={!Case.Id}&customfieldid=10339

I have had to include the &customfieldid=10339 in order for the link to work. Should this be the case?
