At ServiceRocket your user experience matters. With the recent Learndot Enterprise release, we've made changes to certain terminology to make them easier to understand. These changes were to the options available when creating or editing a learning component. A learning component can be any of the following: Learning Pathway, Course, eLearning, ILT, Exam or Content.
While creating or editing a learning component, Learndot Enterprise administrators can select options related to "status" (the availability of the component on the website) and "visibility" (who can see the component on the website). These 2 fields have been renamed to reflect their purpose more clearly:
Field Renamed ToFunctionality Status PurchasableThis field controls the availability to purchase the learning component. Visibility Visible ToThis field controls the website visibility settings of the learning component - who can see the component on the website. In addition, the options available in both these fields have been renamed to make it easier to understand what they mean. The new option names retain the same meaning and functionality as the previous options.
Under the "Purchasable" field:
Name of Previous
Renamed ToEnabledYesActive PartOnly as part of a bundleDisabledNo
Under the "Visible To" field:
Name of Previous
Renamed ToPublicEveryoneHiddenEveryone with the URLMemberOnly signed in usersDeprecatedNo one - optionally redirect to new URL
We hope you'll find these enhancements make the workflow for your administrators easier to follow and understand. We are constantly working to improve our platform and your experience with it. As always, please contact your Customer Success Manager (or reply to this email) with any questions, feedback or concerns.
