Notify JIRA watchers, assignees when a Salesforce comment is added

This request is somewhat related to: https://community.servicerocket.com/servicerocket/topics/no-emails-are-being-sent-when-new-comments-...

We would like for watchers and assignees (or however the JIRA notification scheme is configured) to receive notifications from JIRA when a Salesforce comment. Currently, it doesn't seem as if JIRA knows when Salesforce comments are added, so there's no event to trigger a notification off of. Even if it used the "Generic Event" listener, that'd be sufficient.

Thank you!

Hi Justin,

Thanks for your feedback.

We have added a vote on behalf of you, but the implementation of this request is fully dependent on feasibility and market demands.

Thank you.

Regards,

Is this resolved yet?  I am having the same issue.  I need to know how to get a notification sent from the Jira record when a Salesforce comment is left.
