Hi, can anybody point me to documentation or resources explaining how to push attachments from Salesforce with JIRA Cloud Connector?  I can see instructions for JIRA Server Connector at the below link but this does not seem to cover the JIRA Cloud Connector.

https://docs.servicerocket.com/display/CFSJ/Pulling+Attachments+from+Salesforce.com+to+JIRA

At present I can associate a Salesforce Opportunity with a JIRA Issue OK but attachments are not being pushed to JIRA.

I am using:
Connector Version 6.0.5
JIRA Version 1000.203.1

Hi Todd,

Attachment synchroniztaion works for all objects. Please make sure the followings:

  • Enable the Synchronize Attachments from JIRA > Salesforce > Connection > Configuration
  • Make sure that you "Pull" the changes from JIRA Issue > Salesforce Panel after uploading on the Salesforce side:

Aidin

Hi Aidin,

Awesome that did the trick.  I did not have this enabled.  Thanks very much for the assistance!

Cheers,
Todd

HI Aidin Mahmoodi,
Will the attachements autmoatically push to JIRA or do we need to manually pull from JIRA?

Hi Bharath,

For Cloud connector, Auto Push attachments to SF from JIRA is supported.

But for Auto Pull attachments from SF to JIRA is not supported at the moment. So you need to manually pull from JIRA.

Kevin

The documentation on this page indicates that it is supported. Is this documentation incorrect? https://docs.servicerocket.com/display/CCSFJIRA/Working+with+Attachments+in+Salesforce

You can tell Salesforce when to push attachments to JIRA:

Hi Scott,

This is not supported currently and we have updated the documentation.

We might need to create a new trigger for this.

Cheers,
Aidin
