Using a Confluence evaluation license, the Visibility plugin gives a license error.  I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the plugin through Confluence but there is no change.  I am testing Confluence 5.9.6 and Visibility 3.0.1.

I have the same problem with the Linking plugin even after uninstalling and re-installing.  I don't however have this issue with scaffolding for example.

Hello Matthew,

Perhaps can you post screenshot(s) of the error for both plugins, for our review?

Thanks&Regards,
Ziana

The error message was displayed on the page in a red box with the same text from this subject (The license could not be verified: There is no license certificate installed for CustomWare Visibility Plugin for Confluence.), in place of the actual content that should have been displayed.

I don't get the error now, I had to download a new license file and install it for this plugin.  But what I don't understand is why what was necessary if the plugin was uninstalled and re-installed?

Thank you,
Matthew

Hello Matthew,

For your information, you do not need to uninstall & re-install the plugin in order to upload its license.

I suspect your previous license might have been expired, as each license issued is only valid for 1-year. Glad that you have finally resolved the licensing issue.

Thanks&Regards,
Ziana
