Unable to get hipchat notifications from Salesforce

I have added the connector to my account, and subscribed to the case create notification. Also, added a case trigger calling the notify method from the install package in crm. I do see that the chat room shows that a new activity is logged, but no notification is shown in the chat room. I don't understand why. Help pls.

Hello Apurva,

It would be great if you could provide us with the following information:-
  • Screenshots of the behavior you are experiencing
  • Screenshot of the new activity logged in the chat room
  • Screenshot of the Apex Triggers you added
  • Login to Salesforce as admin -> Setup -> Key in Installed Packages in the searchbox(do not hit enter or search) -> Under Build, click Installed Packages -> Locate Installed Package -> Click Configure -> Full screenshot
  • Login to Hipchat as admin -> Proceed to chatroom -> Integrations -> Salesforce & HipChat Connector's configuration page -> Full screenshot

Have you added a New Remote Site as stated in steps 6 to 9 of this document?
