When is the set up documentation for the pre installed ServiceRocket Salesforce Jira On Demand Connector -

On my Jira instance I see that we already have pre-installed the ServiceRocket Jira Connector - Plugin and a few others. I am trying to find the installation documentation process for this plugin. I don't want the documentation for the paid Salesforce to jira connector by Service Rocket but the free plugin. I'm using the pre-installed plugin.
I also need the link to buy the license for the plugin as well if you have it, at the moment I only have the trial license to test the connector.

I understand the connector that you are referring to but that isn't the connector that I am using. I am confused as to what plugin this is (see first attachment - Cloud Connectors) and how it pertains to your other connector if any. Compared to this add-on (second attachment).
When I am on that documentation page it shows information about the 2nd attachment but I am using the first attachment when creating my Salesforce to Jira tickets. I'm lost as to which plugin/add on I am supposed to use.

Hi Jeremy,

I'd like to clarify that we currently have two similar products in JIRA Cloud, namely:

1) ServiceRocket Salesforce.com Connector Plugin - this is now a legacy product, pre-installed in JIRA Cloud. We have stopped selling licenses for this product from the ServiceRocket Marketplace, however, we (together with Atlassian) are still sorting out the process of removing it from JIRA Cloud to avoid potential confusion like this. For your reference, everything under the 'Cloud Connector' menu is provided by the legacy features - it's completely safe to ignore them (this also includes the Licensing menu which you had trouble with):

2) Salesforce & JIRA Cloud Connector - this is the new product (not pre-installed) for JIRA Cloud. This is the product that you are actually using. This product's licensing is managed by Atlassian Marketplace, hence the license purchased through Yvan Dionne is automatically applied to your JIRA Cloud. All the features provided by the new product should work just fine in your instance (else, it will throw some licensing errors). For your reference, the features are found under the 'Salesforce' menu:

If you'd like to confirm this, visit the Admin page >> Manage add-on >> expand the Salesforce & JIRA Cloud Connector section >> check the license status. Let me know if otherwise.

I understand if this confusion frustrates you - I'm here if you need further clarification.

Cheers,
Aidin

Thank you for this informaiton this clears up a lot. I understand now that I basically need to use the paid connector and re configure all of my mappings for that plugin. Do you all have a time frame as to when that Cloud Connector will be disabled? I am using it right now and it works fine for what I am doing on my end. I just want to make sure that I have enough time to set up the new connector, since I have to use it at some point.

Hi Jeremy,

The deprecation of the Server Connector from JIRA Cloud will eventually happened but there is still no estimated date.

There will be a plan on when this will happen and the Atlassian will announce the plan.

Cheers,
Aidin
