Which product lets me update native SF fields from Jira Cloud vs using a VF page snippet?

We have Jira Cloud and SF Enterprise. We have the Svc Rocket Jira Cloud for Salesforce 1.16 pkg installed. We have the VF snippet on a Case page layout but none of it seems customizable and doesn't work well in any kind of Svc Console layout because of page width restrictions.  Instead, we'd just like to tie our Cases to Jira Issues/Bugs, etc.... using native SF fields and have them update with data from Jira. How is this accomplished? How are others getting around the lack of customization in the VF page snippet? I've been working on this on and off for months and have had little luck with support since we can only get it via email, even after offering to pay for real support.

I'll follow this thread.
Previously I've asked in regards customizing the visualforce pages of the SalesForce Jira Cloud connector, and were answered this is not possible.

I personally feel it's limiting and is a turn-off for most consumers. I get that it's limited functionality and they've made it that way but if it doesn't accomplish what people are looking for, I'd like to hear what their recommendations are for scenarios where adjustments are needed - even if it's a 'our product won't do what you're looking to do' because even that would help me so I can focus on another product/method that will do what I need.

Hi Brian,

Salesforce Package is a new product extended from JIRA Cloud Connector, hence we try to add new functionalities and features along the way based on the users' demands and feasibility.

As for the customization, there are some features added recently which allows you to add/drop visible fields from the VF page, you can proceed to the configuration page of the package from Salesforce > Setup > Installed Packages > ServiceRocket  Jira Cloud for Salesforce > Configure.

What is the exact customization you are looking for? Can you please share your scenario?

Cheers,

Hello Brian,

Can you please provide me with an additional screenshot?
- Salesforce -> Setup -> In the search bar on the left, key in User (don't hit search/enter) -> Left panel under Manage Users, click Users -> Click on the fullname of the user you are trying to map -> Full screenshot including URL bar

Regards,
Adrien

Seems we likely could have solved this with a short telephone call.
