Wrong 'first day of the week' at date-data

Hi *,
this could be the same reason in https://community.servicerocket.com/servicerocket/topics/wrong-calendarweek-at-date-supplier
but this here is Scaffolding-related so I raised a new request.

If I use the task-function in Confluence ( // ) I get a date-picker with Monday as
the first day of the week.

If I use date-data I also get a date-picker but with Sunday as the first day of the week.

This confuses our users... Is there any way to say the date-data date-picker which day he should use for the first day of the week?

Kind regards
André

We are using Confluence 5.8.9
Reporting 5.2
Confluence Date Time Format is: dd.MM.yyyy, HH:mm
Confluence Date Format is: dd.MM.yyyy
Confluence Encoding: UTF-8
Language=German

Hi Andre,

This issue can be referred to here. If the locale of the instance is being set to German, the first day of the week for the default Confluence picker will be set to Monday.

However, Scaffolding is being set following the English locale which has Sunday as the first day of the week. I hope this explains the issue.

Thank you.

Hi Andre,

This isn't a bug, but more of a feature request, as Scaffolding is always set to be in English. If you'd like to, I can assist you in submitting a feature request for the developers to look into this issue.

Thank you.

I still think that is a bug!
Almost every Plugin we have is using the default language of Confluence. Except ServiceRocket.
But yes: Please raise a feature request

We have made a global workaround for us.
we added:
<script>
AJS.toInit(function(){
  AJS.$.datepicker.setDefaults({firstDay:1});
});
</script>

as global html
